It's beginning to read a lot like Christmas 2025: Author Interview with Anna del C. Dye

What made you decide to write a Christmas themed book?

I always wanted to help others in some way and the depression era fit as an example to show the ways people who could help in that time and ours as well. I  do “Frugal” quite well and wanted to use my expertise in how to survive hard situations  without money. I know how to sew, grow a garden, conserve food; either drying or freezing it, use natural healing, etc. That is how The Other Santa Series came to be.

Could you give a short synopsis on the book for my readers?
It's the story of a father-daughter team. He's a millionaire and adopted her when she lost her mother at age five. He wanted her to believe in Santa. So he set out to show her when you care for others and give your best to them, then you become... Santa.

The six books in the series showcase how they use their talents in their projects by helping others see how much they already have.
They assist an orphanage, a small town, a homeless shelter, a hospital and the veterans from the war, to name a few. As a result, the story shows how their lives change as their relationship with each other does.

What are some of your favorite Christmas traditions?
My favorite food traditions are clam chowder, wassail, and homemade candy.

What’s next?
That would be my Royal Romance number 11 Beyond the Mask.

It's the story of a prince that has to marry to get his kingdom back from the chancellors and a princess with an issue. An issue big enough to make her kingdom vulnerable to others, thus she is kept unseen. And how the two find love and trust with each other. (She is handicapped.)

What’s the best writing tip you’ve learned or been given you’d like to share?
Write your whole story then edit and keep editing until it shines.

What do you know now about writing and publishing you wish you had learned sooner?
To surround myself with other writers and learn from them. Is so much easier than doing it alone. Not believing you need help to write and publish you book is your first mistake as an author. You learn so much from others when you belong to a writing group.

Any last words or tips?

Don’t try to copy other authors styles…just be you.
Use what you learn from other authors to improve your writing.
Help other authors along the way and they will help you in return.

What’s your newest release that you’d like to tell my readers about?
Here's the info on my Royal Romance number 11 “Beyond the Mask”

At the royal masquerade ball, beauty is hidden—and truth wears a mask.

Behind jeweled disguises, a prince and princess conceal more than their identities—they hide physical traits that could change how they’re seen forever. But the masks grant them a rare freedom: to connect through words, not appearances or royal titles. What begins as an unexpected spark soon deepens into something more… even if it’s built on illusion.

For Prince Philip, love has never been part of the equation. Marriage is duty—a strategic move to claim the throne. For Princess Abigail, love is everything—trust, respect, and a meeting of hearts.

When the masks come off and their true selves are revealed, will they find the courage to embrace what lies beneath? Or will the pursuit of beauty become the beast that tears them apart?
